On behalf of the Maple Park & Countryside Fire Protection District, I would like to welcome you to our web site. We hope that within the site you can find answers to any questions you may have about the department and be able to sign up for any classes we may be offering such as CPR.
Our district covers a rural area of 42 square miles which also includes the Village of Maple Park and a part of the Village of Virgil. We serve an estimated 4,500 citizens within the district to which we offer ALS and BLS ambulance service along with full fire & rescue service. We meet this challenge with 1fire station located in Maple Park and employ 1 full time fire chief and 37 paid on call/volunteers that are a mixture of paramedics, emergency medical technicians and firefighters.
